Double Bass Peizzo Pickup Q

Hy everbody

I have a Manson Accoustic Bass, not a great bass but ok for me. It has a piezzo pickup below the saddle, that is realy crapy. Between different strings there is to much difference in output level.

Is there anything to do about it? Are there any replacement pickups?

I have a Lightwave with piezo but no problems with it. You haven't had much luck here so I'd move this to a URB forum. I'm guessing they may be more inclined to have an acoustic bass and be familiar with peizos.
