I don't see Joe's posts that way. A post like that might be something like this.

I don't really either. I was trying to say that people that over talk may be sharing for similar reasons that someone else would with a post.

There is a woman at the church I attend who often makes announcements at the end of the service. It has turned into a marathon, free-form yammering that most people tune out after the first couple of minutes. She defeats the purpose of disseminating useful information to the congregation.

I have a work mate like that. He can tell a story that takes me less than a minute to tell and drag it out for 20 minutes. Literally. I timed it.

And will NOT take any hint whatsoever that you have no interest in what he's saying. Bless his heart.

YES I was so happy to be in the can the other day when my friend called with a one sentence piece of info I needed. That's what he delivered to my wife. Had it been me, I would have gotten every detail on the back story, He's a great guy but he won't say in ten words what he can stretch into 1200. Ay de mi.
