Not sure if anyone else does this but I just figured out how to get my perfect string height for each bass I own.
I hook my amp to my headphones and lowerd each string until I hear string buzz through the headphones. Then I raise the strings until the sting buzz is not heard through the headphones any more. This way even if I still gets a tiny amount of string buzz acoustically I know it's not being amplified.
This is after adjusting the truss rod of course
Anyone else do this?
