Period-correct knob question

I just picked up a drop-dead mint '97 MIM Jazz bass, all original except for the knobs. I seem to recall that the Js of that era used the numbered knobs; I'm thinking these from basspartsresource.com will work, as they are split shaft. Can anyone corroborate the use of these in the mid to late 90s?

I really think they only used those knobs on the basses with one-piece pickguards (no control plate), but I could be mistaken. I am certain MIA used regular jazz knobs.

Fender used the Strat style knobs on MIM Jazzes until around 2001 I believe.
