This might be interesting, so what you do is take everything you carry on your person, not necessary in pockets, but keep it simple. Lay it out on a flat surface, take a picture. Might be fun to see what's the same and what's not. Here's my stuff:

From left to right: Keys, Zune, Wallet, Phone, Glasses, Lighter, Ring, Cigarette papers, Pocket knife.

Right now I only have my phone/camera, keys, wallet, and chapstick. I usually have a lighter on me, but its in the car along with a little plastic bag.

I lug all kinds of junk around with me... Zippo, Smokes, Wallet, House Keys, Phone, Picks, Ballpoint Pen, Sharpie, Pocketknife... And if I'm at or going to work, add in Work Keys, Box Cutter/Matte Knife, and a random assortment of tools (Screwdrivers, Pliers, Crescent Wrench, Gloves and a Flashlight usually). Cargo Pants/Shorts are a necessity.
