Take a mirror and see how deep the cut is. I doubt its anything you'll need to see a doctor for so for now, I'd hold off on an ER visit. Just keep the area clean and put some antiseptic on it and you'll more than likely be fine. Maybe even use a butterfly on it as a preventative measure. I've put a gash in my balls a time or 2 and they're still both there, so I'm thinking you'll be fine.
Why do you need to engage in that kind of activity in the first place?![]()

Do you like hairy women? And getting that hair stuck in your teeth or the back of your throat? Didn't think so. Neither do they. Common courtesy.
Hey you, read this.
I don't know a single girl that is 18-26 that doesn't shave. And I don't know a single girl who likes "hairy" men.
The 70's are over. If you just wanna see two balls of course hair go at it, fine by me. But it' s much more fun when you can see whats goin' on.

Can I just hope to treat it myself, as though it were a deliberate injury, like a piercing, with salt water, anti-bacterial soap, etc, or am I going to have to go humiliate myself to a bunch of strangers at an ER as well as here online?....

Yes, scissors....
...and I like a "natural, but not raised by wolves" look...plus, just basic hygiene....and not to make too big a point of it, but I am female....

Well....now that I'm past the trauma and shock....
....I've been treating it by cleaning it frequently with hydrogen peroxide, and a little neosporin on an improvised bandage arrangement, and what looked like scary gore yesterday, is barely visible today....whew!
Will keep up the regime, but thanks to all who offered advice and/or laughs!!

It was just another gash, people on here are into having extra strings, so why not extra . . .![]()
Ummm - that's insult on injury....and not in a good way....:scowl:
