Awh. Genital injuries are always comical, but not good to have.
I've had many a cut around that area. Normally caused by scissoring. Just don't let it grow so much that a razor can't handle the job.

You get 'cream' that disintegrates the hair as well...

I say if you can't see the pluming your probably alright Maybe keep Antibacterial on it, and take baths. Don't "agitate" the area until it is healed.

Yeah the only such incident that requires an ER visit IMO is if you have copious blood loss or sever something, or the male case if you actually open up the scrotum. Otherwise it's no different than getting a cut on your finger: wash well, use some antibacterial, keep it clean.
