Personal opinion poll . . . New pickguard

[ELG60]

Here's my #1 4 string for work. It's an early 2000s Japanese Geddy Lee with upgraded smoke chrome hardware, Wilde Humbuckers, and a John East J Retro preamp. Thing cooks.

When purchased, it came with a white guard and I sourced a black pearl one even before the hardware, electronic, and finish work ended.

I just received a red tort guard today. I'm soliciting opinions on which looks best.

However I'd have gone for plain black if I had the choice.

Mo Colors in Tampa. He's a very well respected and sought-after motorcycle and guitar painter. He does metalflake, pearl, sparkle, and other custom stuff ala Marty Bell.

I cannot say when, but one day, I suddenly realized how much I like this look…go fig!
