Personal opinion poll . . . New pickguard

Which do you prefer?

Personal opinion...the black one isn't really much better than the white one.
Can't say how many similar Jazz basses I've seen hanging up this year alone.
Now, if I saw one with the red tort, I just might pick it up and plug it in, and judging by the poll results, it's definitely the way to go.

Sorry. I know everyone has their own tastes but the only color bass I could rock a tort pickguard is a white one with a rosewood fingerboard. JMHO

One exception only because I have it and changing the pickguard would run in the visuals.

I dunno if I’d say only white body. But if the tort has yellow blotches, as many do, they’ve got to not clash with the maple fretboard. If they match, great, but they usually don’t. Rosewood bypasses that issue, as does the red/black tort you can sometimes get.
