Pete Wentz Vs. Victor Wooten

Never read anything bout him or seen interviews but I saw the flectones on tv once and he was like hoggin all the "noise room" and when he soloed he..just... I felt odd watching it.

arrogant AND ignorant. what an incredible combination.

i understand not enjoying, liking, or caring for another bass player's music, taste, style, or chops.......

when i worked for bestbuy our installer did a home theater for wentz. he said that wentz asked some of the dumbest questions he's ever heard and didnt know anything about sound at all. he did say that he was rather nice though.

Well, IMO Victor is the best... Better than a lot of other musicians that I've heard. But... How an you compare him with Pete Wentz? I mean, really, they both play completely different music styles, they both started in different times, even though I hate Pete Wentz, you can't compare these guys. Victor is a BEAST in the style he plays... But maybe Pete could be better than Vic in the genre that FOB plays in some other peoples opinions? I really don't know, he could just be an idiot with a bass... IMO, Victor could beat anyone... But not everyone thinks that, though there are a lot of ignorant people on the face of Earth. Just try to respect each one the same way... I mean, they both do get a lot more money than the most (of all) of you just playing playing the bass.

But if someone asked me who's better... I would say Victor Wooten with no doubt. I say he can eat Pete Wentz alive. Victor can play that bass with such a groove, technique and soul... Not everyone can do that... Not even Pete...

I heard that Victor Wooten of Bela Fleck and the Flecktones puts on makeup and plays in pop punk bands like Pete Wentz. Is this true? I'm unable to find a solo video on UTube. Ugh, I wish I could forget that he's from the same state I live in, lol, also you'd think wentz with all his ill gotten gains could go somewhere a lil better thab best buy for his system what with all the higher end places round here like Frys, Abt, and the lil guys.
