Peter Charell's Tone

Anyone familar with Trapt much? I saw them in concert last spring back when i didnt know much about different effects and amps and stuff but i saw them in concert because they rock. I got into Trapt and soon realized that their bass lines were AWESOME. So i did some research on their bassist and found out who he was and learned some of his songs and what not, but i cant figure out how he gets some of his tones. It doesnt sound like he uses any special effects, but what knobs would you dial to get a sound like that?
