Petition for heavy gauge Chromes

Dear D'Addario,
I very much second the "need" for higher tension Chromes, but although not a big market, this heavier gauges should extend to the short scale range. While the short scale current tension (40-100) is sufficient (other companies offer even less tension for short scales basses!), the fact is that I steer clear of them not due to their tone, which I like very much, but due to "low tension" for my needs. Short Scales basses have traditionally not been offered too many options (perhaps because people run businesses, and shorties are clearly a minority-they probably won't sell as well/much), and as far as I remember, only your competitor La Bella offers suitable heavy tension flatwound short scale sets (110 or 111). In fact, I am considering such a set right now for my shortie, due to the limited heavy gauge availability among most companies. I believe that there will be plenty of customers who will purchase such a set from you, considering the number of threads on these forums I've read and actually participated in regarding this issue-to little tension on most short scale bass string sets, flatwound or otherwise.
The issue above is one that I believe D'Addario should address in due time, for there is no practical reason (save business purposes-the company might theoretically be saving funds) that short scales owners should be deprived of options that are so crucial for music-making. Having available only one tension that actually feels like a light set even though thickness-wise it is "medium", doesn't address many players' needs out there-especially those that need high tension in their short scale basses because it is the tone and feel they prefer, or in case they need to drop-tune.

They stopped selling singles of strings they did not sell XX number of over a certain time frame.
They are working on bringing all singles back.
