Phasers

On bass, you can't beat the old MuTron Phasor II.

Although the Oberheim P-100 / Maestro MPS-2 Mini-Phase is cool too.

I like old phasers ... preferably misspelled apparently

I have an EP-2 and love it, although I really only use it in envelope mode. I went through a ton of filters before I realized I liked this one better than any of them. The phase sounds are cool. They can sound darker like a small stone or a little brighter like a phase 90. Very versatile. They can be had a lot cheaper than I bought mine for right here in the TB classifieds. A lot of really cool phasers available. Cool effect but like everyone seems to be thinking not an always on pedal.

So far I am loving the Mojo Hand Nebula IV!...nice and subtle/warm phase to over the top warble. I have just had it for a day or so, and spent about 30 minutes playing with it last night, but didn't notice any low end roll off.. Separate Rate, Depth, and level controls. The level control is very mild (IMO). It's there to adjust for unity leverl when the effect is on or off (not a volume control)...which is cool I have used phasers in the past that definately had that bump when the effect was on. kind of annoying.

Lots of room on the "depth" control...and as mentioned above, the rate can be adjusted from very subtle almost unoticable phase to over the top warble. With a really nice smooth phase shift (not jerky like some other phasers)...

I will be using this pedal at gigs this coming weekend and can't wait to test drive it in a live band setting...

On another note (off topic). The Guitar player in our band picked up a Mojo Hand Rook OD pedal and man does that thing sing! Really great sounding OD pedal (on guitar anyways)...
