Phasers

Link Removed

Used to have this guy in my line but he ended up being switched out for a Boss BF-2 Flanger. The Phaser pedal is now part of a different effects board I'm building which currently consists of the aforementioned Phaser, a Danelectro Fab Tone (90s model), and a Behringer Bass CHorus.

Retro-Sonic Phaser! All the phasey goodness of the Phase 90 script, plus a level control to keep the volume consistent. Sounds exactly the way a classic phaser should.

I really have almost no use for a phaser, but I love the sound too much to take it off my board. :help:

I did a search and came up with $175 ... at sears ! :hmm:
Looks interesting though, I like the idea of the level control.

I was immediately smitten with the Boss PH-1r. Granted, I've only had it for a few weeks, so it hasn't been properly vetted. But I REALLY like the sound. Super thick and warm...great for funky pickstyle playing. And the resonance knob is very useful for fitting it into a mix.

That's one I've always wanted to try! Damn GAS....if you get bored with it....dibs!

Has anyone A/B'ed the Boss PH1r with the Akai Intelliphase? I own and love the Akai, and I've only heard demos of the PH1r, but from that, they sound very similar. The Akai has the Touch Phaser feature, but the Boss is much smaller. So, who's had their hands on both?
