Phil Lesh's New Ritter Bass

I knew this one was claimed at the NAMM show, but didn't know who the buyer was. Must be one hell of a bass to pull him off the Modulus.
 
I had heard Phil had commissioned Jens to build one and had also seen that NAMM pic. Today a friend of mine asked if I knew what it was because he's started showing up on stage with it.

I'm glad he's doing well and can enjoy such a bass. Pretty different from his 70's Alembic or his 80's era Modulus though!

Go back to a bass with two less strings and stop noodling so much.

I don't think it's the place of someone in a Grateful Dead cover band to tell Phil Lesh what he should play ;)
