Phil Lesh's New Ritter Bass

What the devil is he playing these days? He has something brand new with LED's in the fret board. It looks spectacular!

Here is the "basic" model if you want to call if basic. Phil, of course, customized his. How? Can't tell ya but this thing looks wild, especially with the LED frets.

I had heard Phil had commissioned Jens to build one and had also seen that NAMM pic. Today a friend of mine asked if I knew what it was because he's started showing up on stage with it.

I'm glad he's doing well and can enjoy such a bass. Pretty different from his 70's Alembic or his 80's era Modulus though!

ha - I've heard duke2004 many times, and even shared the bill (and amp) with him on occasion. Trust me, he can handle the lines, and then some
