Photoshop Request II: A Few Requests More

Status
Not open for further replies.
Well, as it turns out, Thunder replied to my PM.

Not just the pictures as a whole, but each individual part is made of multiple layers, so he doesn't have just one image for each part. The multiple layers are how he gets different effects on the bass, like reflective properties and such.

Since there are no single images of any one part, I'm not sure if TB Bass Creator will be a reality now, but I'm still gonna see what I can do.

Sorry guys....
Is it not possible to save the stacked bridge parts, for example, save it as a img, and use that as a single part, the bridge?

Hey guys. Thanks for all the kind comments. Some of you noticed the oversized neck on my last posting. that was a mistake on my part. When I saved the final composite I accidentally had an older layer visible. Here's a more correct version.

I also took a quick stab at gnasher1993's "deluxe" version. (Sorry to others who requested mockups. I'm going out of town tomorrow so won't be able to get to them anytime soon. Gnasher1993's request was fairly quick to do since it was mostly just a mod.) It was kind of rushed and I'm disappointed with how the gold of the hardware turned out. I might try to refine that when I get back. Anyway, here 'tis...

Hey! You guys are still at it! And the thread is actually kinda back on track!

Who would have thought? :D

The "make your own bass" program idea is awesome, provided Thndrstrk6 (is that how it's written?) has no problem with it.

I know enough of Adobe Flash to know it could be done in it, since it has some support for Photoshop-like layers, tinting, transparency, etc. And it could be an online app with native compatibility with Windows, Mac Os, Linux, and anything else that works with Flash. Is that something like that you were considering, Bluesy?

Here's Invalid Link Removed (overly complex, but you get the idea).

Unfortunately, I don't know enough of Flash to be the one to do it. Sorry. :(

Oh, and Thndrstrk, in case you're swamped with requests feel free to skip my LPB P/J project if you don't feel like bothering with it. I know how it feels to spend way too many hours in Photoshop, and it's not super important or anything, just one of those idle little "what ifs". Keep on the good work!

Pure 24k gold is softer than one would think. It will almost bend when just held tight in the hand for a while.

Indeed, but you're forgetting about the rest of the neck, multi laminate hardwood, possibly carbon fiber reinforced, double truss rod, (ric or sixer),

A slab of hard maple fretboard on its own would bend on its own too.;)

I honestly don't know Flash.....it's going to be a downloadable executable, that'll only run in windows.

Sorry. :(
