PICK OR FINGER WHILE SINGING?

Guys,i always wanted to be a vocalist,and i was in a few bands but things didnt work,BUT I FEEL LIKE I MUST SING(im not very good at it yet),i discovered 2 awesome bands : septicflesh and nightwish,both they have incredible vocalists.
i bought a bass 3 months ago and i dont know what to choose between fingers and pick. I still want to be a vocalist,so the question is: how is it easier to sing while playing, with a pick or with fingers?
(I play equally good with both but never tried to sing along because my family is always home)

Doing both at the same time is harder than either together. I'm not really a pick playeer, but I'd guess each would be about as difficult as the other. My late missus was a phenomenal pianist and guitarist and she found it hard initially to sing and play ay the same time. So my answer grasshopper, is practice.

Yeah either works for me and On songs that I sing lead on some are with a pick and others are fingers. A9X has it in a nutshell, practice. It is a difficult thing to sing and play bass at the same time and there are songs I can't do but If I would put the time into them I could work it out.
