I had a GT6 way back in college, I think it was a '70, in British Racing Green like this one. The thing couldn't move 10 feet without something breaking on it. The legendary Lucas electrics (from the Prince of Darkness) were particularly wonderful, with things like headlights not working unless the windshield wipers were on (although "wipers" is plural, typically only one would work at a time), and god forbid that you would try to get it to run in the rain anyway. Another fond memory I have of it is driving on a lonely interstate in Michigan, losing one gear at a time. There goes 4th gear....10 minutes later, there goes 3rd gear, and so forth. The predictable end was followed by knocking on random farmhouse doors hoping to borrow a phone.
But it did look cool standing still...which is about all it could do most of the time.
Where it is to this day, covered in mud, muck, and God-knows-what. So, if you really want one of these, I know where there's a free one...
