Pickguard choice opinions??

Here is a picture of the love of my life:




I'll be refitting her with a new pickguard cause I want something a little more exciting than black. Here is some choices I was thinking about. Opinions?

+1. But especially do not get that hideous green! It would clash horribly (IMHO, of course).

I like some pretty extreme pickguards on a Stingray, but the green one is going to upset anyone who looks at it. Of course, this may be your desired response, so....

I would personally go for the paisley. The purple would probably work, but it's a bit 80's. The paisley is retro yet avant garde, a bit weird but not so weird that it calls attention to itself. It harmonizes with the finish on the bass body without disappearing like the current black one does. I think that would look dead sexy.

Thanks for all the opinions folks! I'm definitely leaning towards the paisley.

The bass itself is metallic gunmetal. When you see it straight on its a deep grey, from an angle it looks mirror black. Pretty sweet!

Agreed. Although I think that green pearl would look pretty cool on a white bass.
