You put a pg on that body and I'll personally beat your a$$!:D

as much as i like pearl pickguards..

this is a fantastic body and doesnt need one

God that is super sexy! How can you think about covering that up?

Under no circumstances would I cover that maple with a pickguard. And I've never thought of truss notches as ugly- they're just part of the body.

If you're concerned about the nitro (Warmoth does nitro? Or did you have someone else do it/do it yourself?), use a clear partial pickguard like you see on Celinders and some Sadowskys. Oh, and black pickguard screws will be less noticeable.

leave it as is. the pickguard destroys the reason why you would buy such a nice looking bass.

No, hell no, not on that body.

No. Don´t do it. The body is good as it is.

putting on a pickguard would make holes in that body! no!

but if you must, a clear pickguard.

btw, that body is BEAUTIFUL. good purchase.

+1, I agree with everyone else, leave it.

Leave that body alone, don't put a pickguard on it! IMO it looks great as it is right now.
ps. first post, hi everyone

No Pickguard.

No way, no pickguard!!

That body is to sexy for a pickguard..

+1 to all of the above, don't ruin that body, it's just too nice to drill holes into & to cover up

Here is where I get yelled at.....

I think you should paint it Seafoam green.

But since you won't be doing that, I say leave it alone and go guardless. I mean, it certainly is fancy. Why ruin all the fancyosity if you were going for fancyosity in the first place?

That's an amazing finish; you CAN'T cover it up with a pick guard!
Why would you even consider it?:rollno:
