Pickguard suggestion?

Hi comrades!
What kind of pickguard would you suggest for fender style guitar which has rosewood fingerboard and a candy apple red body?

What do you think about White pearl + Cream pickups?

I have a P-Bass clone with those colors and I have a "Mint Green" pickguard. Any white or off-white will look fine as will a tort.

White pearl, off-white pearl, cream pearl + white, off-white or cream PU covers would be beautiful, IMHO.

White pearloid looks great with CAR- Duck Dunn played one with a jazz neck for many years and it is a real looker.

Not sure about the white covers, though. They just remind me of '70s Fenders with Dimarzio replacement PUPs, never a great look IMO.
