Pickguards

Looking for a new colored pickguard to give my white P-Bass some style. Anybody know of any good online sites that sell them?

While on the topic what do you think would look best on a white P-Bass, not concerning music style played?

If it's got a rosewood board, White-Black-White 3ply would look really classy, as would Black-White-Black 3ply.

For any fretboard, red tortoise shell would look super spiffy. I'm actually rolling around the idea of an Olympic White J with a tort pickguard and a rosewood board. Possibly one of the classiest colour combos out there.

If you've got maple board, though, straight black would probably cause women to spontaneously dry hump your bass, so be careful with that one.

yeah tort was one of my selections, but is it more of a red or a brown color, its different between other pgs i see. im not a red person

tortoise is a brownish, then there's red tort. you can go either way.

I am now thinking Black Pearloid to go with my white pbass. Is it just me or does black pearloid have a hint of blue tint to it?

edit: I gave ebay a look and noticed some wood pickguards and Im trying to put the idea in my head

If it's a rosewood fingerboard, I'd go with brown tort. If it's a maple board, I'd go with the black p/g.

I have a graphite weave pattern P bass pickguard for sale that would look great on a white P bass but it is pretty expensive.

seriously, it's not a plug for my bass, it's a sugestion. I think that would look awesome on your P bass... esp if it's a maple board.

I have a nice red-brown GOOD quality (looks like it should, not like a cheesy photocopy) tort P pickguard I would let go cheap, if yer interested. PM me.

It's a Fender replacement, not a copy. 13 hole, if that works.
