I make my own picks from vegetable ivory, or tagua. Any size shape or thickness, each one is different and the tone is always excellent. Bell like but not plastic clicky, thick fundamental, natural and handmade in every way.

Picking: What kind of picks do you use?

+1... I go thru a couple of them during a 4 hour gig, but they're not expensive, commonly found, and give me the right combination of bounce off the string and gripping surface... The also have the advantage of having 3 points, so I can rotate them for a fresh point without having to go get another pick... I'm primarily a pick player, and these have worked well for me for years...
