pickup scratches

    anybody else have scratches in there pickup from there strings hitting it. Becuase I do and I want to know if its not that odd.

    Not at all. What type of pickups do you have in your bass?

    very common, especially if they are Bartollini's

    Yea bartolinis get it. Its all good, theres worse things that can happen to your bass than scaratches.
  6. I used to use a pick on my Fender Precision. what i didnt realize was i was hitting the string right over the pick ups and i noticed silver stuff all over my pick. so i switched to using my fingers and dont do it over the pick-ups anymore. They still work fine though and sounds great.
