Pink body, what color pickguard?

Back when hep cats jived with real gone girls, pink and black was the cat's pajamas daddy-o.

My folks even had a pink and black Vicky when i was a wee lad.

I have three pink basses. One has gold anodized, one with white, one with tort. They all look great.

Mint also does well!

He's not joking! I had a black P about 12 years ago with a mirrored green PG. It was IMPOSSIBLE to keep it looking half decent. Swapped it for a green pearloid.

I bought this bubble gum/pepto pink bass body on ebay. I want to slap a maple neck/fret on this bad boy but can't decide what kind of pickguard to put on it. Not really digging the white.

Should I go black? Mirror? Something equally funky? I just don't really know what would look best with pink and maple.
