Pino's rig?

Saw Pino back in the spring with Mayer. Not 100% certain he was using this rig but man he sounded incredible.

To me it looks like Pino plays different stuff for different gigs. Most gigs with John Mayer are with an Ampeg fridge stack, except for some JM Trio gigs back in the day where he used Ashdown heads with 2 Epifani UL212 cabs. I've seen him play various rigs, probably whatever was supplied by the venue or backline supplier. With the level of acts he plays it should be decent stuff anyway.

I always thought Pino looks like he has Marfan syndrome: tall, lanky, long fingers, and sunken chest. There is speculation that Paganini and Robert Johnson also had it.

Glad I'm not the only one who cant see. My eyes tell me the mids and treble are dimed, but the gain knob is physically cut in half? I dont know anything anymore

I recall he was using an Ashdown rig for the Gilmour segment on that Stratocaster tribute show some years back. At least the head was. I don't recall if the cab was or not.

With all the acts he plays with in a year, I highly doubt he drags any rigs around the world. So I go with BlueRock's assessment.

Agree with likely rented backline, why? Pino isn't listed as an Epifani artist on epifani.com and if he were, he certainly would be listed prominently.
