PJ BASS GUITAR WIRING

HI GUYS I HAVE BASS COULD BE A EARLY YAMAHA 70S 80S/ IT HAS A VOL POT/ THEN THERE WAS A SWITCH/ LEFT ON /MIDDLE OFF/ RIGHT ON/ THIS WAS BY PAST AS BROKEN/ THEN THERE IS ANOTHER POT SEEMS TO MIX PICKUPS/ THEN A TONE POT/ THE POTS ARE MINI/ I WAN'T TO UP GRADE POTS ETC/ BUT DON'T KNOW WHAT THE SWITCH DID/ WANT TO PUT POT IN ITS PLACE THIS IS A PJ BASS INPUT JACK ON EDGE OF BASS NEED WIRING FOR THE UPGRADE ANY THOUGHTS

yes we are not all grammered up/ but i am a top bass player /and i am sorry if my spelling is not up to scratch but people are people and if everybody was the same how boring would it be / i am new to the site and instead of pulling my spelling apart why don't you help people instead of being so negative and rude
