Hellow fellow bassits!
I'm a novice bass player in a rock band looking to upgrade my gear, i currently have a Fender Squier Jazz bass and very few dollarinos so i was thinking of switching my current J pick ups for some P-J's, so im looking for some guidance, i like the EMG GZR but im not completly convinced. i need something that can slam as well as sway (idk if those are terms to describe sound).
I also want to do all the wiring and routering myself, i know how to soder... but thats it hehe so if anyone has any advice i would greatly appriciate it!
