Jones BP200 (10 hours in it). Looking to sell the BP200 as my neighbor is selling me his brand new Mesa D350 for 600.00! He used it 1 hour and wants more power. Anyway, can I use the Mesa 350 with these two cabinets? Thanks

UPDATE: Mesa wrote back. Stated to use two Speakon cables one out of each 4ohm output. Should be fine he said. Thanks
Wait a minute, there isn't a "4 ohm output" jack.

Both jacks are wired in parallel, according to PJB your cabinets are 8 ohms each and not offered as a 4 ohm cabinet, so either a cable from each amp speaker jack to each cabinet OR from one of the amp jacks to the first speaker and from the first speaker to the second speaker are exactly the same. Your total load will always be 4 ohms with 2 x 8 ohm speakers in parallel.

On the back of the D350 it has 2 outputs at 4 ohms each. Each cab is 8 ohms. Either way would work. Either daisy chain from one cab to the other or two singular outputs.

No, there are two output jacks and the output section is 4 ohms minimum load (total).

Here's the sections from the owner's manual:

Thanks. Just posting what was sent to me from Mesa themselves.
I think that maybe somebody didn't quite understand the question, because our GUITAR amps have 4 ohm jacks tapped off of the output transistor not the bass amps.

What does that have to do with anything? I took the guys advise and thanked him. Yes maybe the guy at Mesa who wrote back to me misunderstood me. And yes, I do know who AgedHorse is. He solved the problem when he posted the owners manual pages. Glad he is on here.
