No. It's the weirdest thing. The Sterling is supposed to be the 4-string version of the Stingray 5 but it has a Stingray 4-style pickguard. Weird. I wonder why they don't offer the Sabre style pickguard anymore. It was very cool.

I love my new kingston 5 and all, but must i say im craving for a musicman badly. Oh and who ever said the sterling was supposed to be the 4 string version of the stingray 5. tell me wasn't it call the stingray 5 for a reason the sterling 5? Wouldn't you think the stingray 5 was made to be the 5 string version of the stingray? the ray5 wasn't even made till ernie ball bought them. THINK
