Played a Dumble bass amp

WOW! I had no idea Dumble made a bass amp at all until I found this thread. The sound must've been magical.

I find my own experience to agree with most of your postings.

Here is my Pig-umble B100V modified bass head. It does record nicely.

im more excited to see the pignose lol

but yeah i know the whole dumble thing was pretty cool at the time. so it is kinda strange feeling seeing one.
most of it is the whole folklore about the things

then again its funny so so many home made amps floating around these days.
the dumble im sure sounded good. ( but its really ugly) wonder what people would say if you just posted it not mentioning the builder.

Call it what you want, there is certainly a mindset direct, direct, direct ... the sound person rules the roost it’s no longer about a sensible volume musical conversation on stage that is sent via “sound reinforcement” to the audience. It’s just easier and to use a fly rig to the house and trust in the result.

There are many mindsets on TB . That's just the one you notice because it gets on your nerves .
