Played a Gibson SG and hated it..

Just got a new pickguard from PickguardHeavan.com for my SG Supreme. Still loving this bass after my honeymoon phase (we still sleep in the same room, but I've started to see other basses on weekends and have been caught looking at pictures of other basses online at night).
That PG looks really nice on the SG. Was thinking about doing the same to mine but was concerned about covering all that great flame. Looks like it covers less flame than I thought it would. Maybe someday.
Thanks. I had never considered putting a pickguard on this until I spotted one on a Supreme listed on eBay a couple of weeks ago. I thought it looked so sharp that I needed one for myself. There's still plenty of flame to view, and I just like the way the guard looks.
