Playing through a Dave Smith Mopho

Has anyone played their bass guitar through a Dave Smith Mopho sound module? I have searched the net to find audio or video but can't find any. I spoke with a guy from Dave Smith Instruments and he said that playing through the audio in and lots of tweaking with give me good bass synth sounds. Would like to hear before I consider purchasing one.

Also has anyone tried a Sonuus B2M with the Dave Smith?

Thanks

i know some people here like it, but to me the Sonuus is a piece of garbage. was USEless for me.

i used to have a DSI Evolver, loads of fun running through it's efx section. you DID have to trigger the filters opening and closing with MIDI though. i wonder if the MoPho is like that.

but no, havna tried a MoPhokah yet. looks the BIDNESS though.

Not sure about the MoPho module, but the keyboard version does have an input that can be played through, however, only the filter works this way. It is NOT like turning a bass guitar into bass synth. Not even close. Better to get the keyboard version, and play it that way. Much better, if you want bass synth.

I contacted DSI about this maybe 2 years ago and was told that you CAN play your bass through only the filter section of the unit. You would need a midi controller keyboard to actually use the synth to its full analog synthy-sweet potential.
