Playstation Network is screwing up all the big PS3s

It happened to me in the UK as well - it's all across the world. It was the internal clock not recognising that there was no leap year, this year.

I wasn't connected to the network, but it just stopped me playing the game I was trying and seems to have lost Trophies on several games.

I can get it to play other games - but I worry about saved data etc. as I was hoping to play through the expansion packs for Dragon Age when they come out, with my current saved character!? :hmm:
Wait....Lindquist plays video games?

I assumed that you would not play anything that involved electronics. For that matter, I thought chess was probably too technologically advanced for you. What's next, don't tell me you have been reading Wikipedia and eating American CheeseTM :D

I finished Oblivion and Dragon Age twice - plus I finished the Drake's adventures and Prince of Persia amongst many other less-well-known PS3 games.

I love RPGs and also Tiger Woods Golf! :p

Computer Games are like nostalgia for me - I was a kid growing up with the very first of these. I had a ZX Spectrum and would actually type in games in Basic code! I grew up on Manic Miner and Jet Set Willy!! ;)

2 questions:

Whats the battle system like on dragon age, turn based, action...?

And how long is Heavy Rain? I heard it was relatively short.

Dragon Age is real time combat, but can be paused and commands given.

Heavy Rain is about 9 hours per playthrough, but there's about 20 different combinations of endings possible.

Dragon Age plays a lot like Mass Effect 2, Baulders Gate, etc. And yes, from what I hear, Heavy Rain is short but great.

I, however, am a fighting game fan (its my competative edge I suppose). I have logged so many hours playing various Street Fighter games in my life that I would be too embarrassed to share.

Im just glad my PS3 is back up so I can get back to Street Fighter 4, BlazBlue, Resident Evil 5, Soul Calibur 4, and Modern Warfare 2.

.

I really like the combat system - it takes a while to get used to it and how to bring up spells in combat, but once you have it's very flexible and battles are rarely the same.

I like how you can easily switch between controlling characters - so if one is doing something non-productive you can switch to control them. I also like how the rogues can summon animals to get an extra party member!
