I didnt 'rook' anyone. THe guy said he used to play the bass all over bars at gigs back in the day, doesn't play anymore, said it was 'old' and was firm on the price. It wasn't like I bought it from some little old lady who had no idea what she had. Like I said, I was somewhat ignorant going into it, he determined the price he wanted, and he could have done better research before selling it. Nobody put a gun to his head and made him sell it for that price, and like I said, I was pretty ignorant going into it as well since I'm not a bass player.

The bass is easily worth $1,000.00 more than was paid. This sort of thing goes on all the time. I think it's kind of sad that people are okay with it.

The seller was ignorant of it's value. I picture some older fellow who probably bought it new for $400.00, thinking it had to have depreciated...
