PLEASE HELP IN PITTSBURGH

Well I'm on Craigslist almost daily so I'll keep my eyes open for it, make sure as soon as you know it's either gone or not to make a police report I know NOVA is great about all of the pawn shops turning in their serial numbers daily.

This is further proof that all of us bass players should have a luggage ID tag in our cases AT ALL TIMES.

I'm gonna do it today, that way if an honest person finds something they know exactly who to call.

Man she's gorgeous, I really hope you get it back.

Keep us posted, I'm curious how this turns out now. Fingers crossed and here's to hoping this ends with a happy twist.

Very true about ID tags, it's something I never considered but the first thing my manager asked me. There is nothing in the case to identify the owner if the bass is lost.

Great news, the festival in VA just contacted us. They have my bass. My drummers girlfriend is visiting family 20 minutes away and will pick it up and take it back to NYC for me.

I should be Ok for today's show, I spoke to a TBer this morning and we will be connecting soon. He's loaning me his Pbass.

Thanks to everyone that answered the post and
support. Will update with a big thanks to Marc and a gig pic once everything comes through

Excellent news, very happy to see it end well.

Make sure you pull that horseshoe out and clean it off , tetanus shots hurt.

Highly recommend you change that ASAP.

In actually surprised its not a more common practice.

Thanks bro! We will get to Syracuse sometime and I'll give you a holler!! I'm hoping Talkbass comes through.

I'm glad things are working out for you, and by all means let me know when you're passing thru the Syracuse area - I'll come check you out if I'm not gigging...

Glad everything worked out. Good on tb brother Mark for going the extra distance and saving the day.

Most definitely! My wife sent me this text,

"Am about to utter words you never thought you'd read coming thru my fingers... Thank Goodness for Talk Bass. Now that's how a community works."

My Tbird is also on a bus and I'll be picking it up from Penn Station tonight. Good think, I have a huge show Saturday then were off to Toronto on Thursday to play at a music festival.

Alls well that ends well and I got to meet a fellow TBer!

Talk Bass RAWKS! Thank God people were there to help. I've been in the same situation before. It SUCKS. I woulda called friends in that area if I didn't know it was already resolved. With all the threads about NOT letting someone use their bass, this one is cool! I hope your gig went well. And nothing but great things for the lender!
