Please help! Stolen 1959 Fender Precision Bass.

My Grandfathers vintage 1959 Fender Precision Bass was stolen from my home on June 11th, 2013 in Antioch, TN. Color is 3 tone sunburst. Serial #3???? The four tuning keys have the names of my two aunts, uncle, & mother engraved into them- which read: "Miki", "Scott", "Sandi", & "Trish".
Additionally, he had his stage name "STEVE" embossed on some kind of "tin tape" & placed on the upper portion of the body. He did this himself sometime in the early 60's i believe. However, it could easily be removed, but would definitely leave an indication that something had been there.

Furthermore, the bass retains all original pickups & hardware.

If the thief knew what they were stealing and this is an original non-altered 1959 Fender other than the fact that you should have filed a report with the police you need to contact all the big players in vintage instruments like Gruhn, elderly instruments, etc. With pictures and then the full serial number. This way if the thief tries to broker the instrument through one of the big players in vintage instruments they already
have the information and they can call the police when the guy tries to put the deal forth!
