Plug Two Amps Into One Cab?

Yes. Biamping has long been established as the practice of using an active crossover to separate the signal into two frequency bands, high and low, and separately amplify each and send to drivers especially suited to reproducing those bandpasses.

That can be done with a suitable single multi-driver cab, or two separate ones.
