Plush tube amp - nevermind

I'll tell you what's unreasonable; all these poeple saying how easy it is and not giving any advice.

You can't spell it either...might want to get a tech to make your replies from now on. :D

Nice. If you're going to go all "spelling police" on people, I'd like to bring to attention all of the run-on sentences and lack of punctuation in many of the posts above.

"So what?" The lack of attention to detail stands out. I believe if one is working on a tube amp, attention to detail is critical.

This thread needs closed. The OP's posts are no longer constructive and have moved into argumentative to the point of being ridiculous.

Glenn, It seems you're no longer into resolving your problem, just into personally attacking those who're trying to offer advise.

Someone telling you to take your amp to a tech doesn't indicate they could fix it. It indicates that they cant help you fix it over the internet.

Like I said before If you don't know exactly what you're doing, you wouldn't know who's advise to take.

Good Luck in your endeavor,

God Bless, Ray

Hi.

Well, I tried to close it, but couldn't figure it out.

Can someone recommend a tech to help me close it?

You have to ask the mods to do that for You. The thread closing option was taken off of our hands a while ago.

I know that You don't give a damn about it, but in my humble opinion, it's a chicken**** move to close a thread when things don't go as You'd wanted.

That said, please don't zap Yourself too badly.

Regards
Sam

If you pull down the "Thread Tools" menu at the top, do you have the option to close the thread (you have a "moderation tool" at the bottom? I know that one has that ability when starting a thread in the Classifieds but I'm not sure about a thread in the Forums.

I think Glenn is being facetious. I'm sure he could close the thread. He just wants to look foolish a while longer.:scowl:

God Bless, Ray

I've fixed at least five amps with help from the internet and info gathered from reading books.

Naw, I know, Glenn. That little bit of pasted text is just something I haul up every now and again after seeing so many people who've never even soldered before or looked at a schematic, convinced they can learn overnight on their bad abused amp, without ever having called the magic phone number on the matchbook.

Let me tell you something Ray, now pay attention.

I'm a simple man and when I say, "I can't close the thread", that means I can't close the thread.

And as far as me looking foolish, what statements of relevance have YOU contributed to this thread?
