Speaking of pockets I actually got in to one for at at least 8 minuets. my bass teacher was using a prs 6 string guitar and I was using my Cort bass, an he Thur on his distortion pedal and we sounded so kick ass together it was not even funny.

bootsy's playing with james brown back in teh day was pretty groovalicious. and hwo about billy cox from the band of gypsies...some of the parts he and jimi did together were amazing!(izabella, machine gun, etc...) danyel morgan from robert randolph's family band is a great player as well, havnt seen him mentioned much on this site...if you ever get a chance ot see them play live, it is quite an experience.
