Pointy basses?

Well, I know you dont like Deans but, they, along with BC Rich, are about the only company making stock pointies. They are not bad basses, if you get a higher end one. THe "Metalman" versions are sh*t. The special runs and "Tour" series are much better. They certainly are not the quality of Spector ot MTD type basses but, I own one for playing metal and its punchy and sounds great in that environment.

The reason I say this is, here is the bass youre looking for! But wait....its not built yet. We were trying to get it built over on the Dean Forum but it might take some time. Im certainly in if it does get built. Im in the same search youre in and other than this Dean, theres not much out there.

I'm such a SUCKER for pointy basses and guitars. I just ate 4 Tums with simethicone after seeing this, and I STILL HAVE GAS.

I have a few V guitars in the family including a natural finish King-V neckthru, but as far as basses go, only one with the typical Jackson pointy headstock, and very rounded points.

Years ago I owned a red Hamer V bass, and loved every minute of it till I gave it to my cousin, who unfortunately let it get stolen, or I would post pictures of that thing.

im surprised noone has brought this one up yet...
if youre looking for a nice, pointy v bass, look no further than the moser bastard v

the bastard V is the guitar version, the BVi is the bass version but either way, if you bought it for "display" purposes, and mounted it on your wall upside down, it can be used as a portable shirt hanger, those deep grooves would accept 8 clothes hangers on it...lol

man I totally forgot about Moser for wild designed bodied guitars/basses, even the non-custom made line coming in from Korea like the BVi.
