Living in Europe, Thomann. Their website is intuitive. Low price. Fast shipping. Honest about about availability and delivery times. Many products in stock. And last their customer support are really listening to you and making a real effort to help you. I almost adore them. Lol they should give me a free voucher for this.
Another dynamic I should have considered, apologies.
I have grazed from so many places (Zzounds, eBay, Craig's List, TalkBass) that it's tough to say. I guess in terms of dollars spent (as opposed to amount of gear), it would have to be Craig's List. Or TalkBass. Toss-up.
Thomann and also Bax shop as of late.
Bax is within my country(netherlands) and delivers the next day when i order before 22:00. Also they have free return policy of 60 days(including shipping back). Thomann still has larger product catalogue and provides better customer service(For example, if they ship you a faulty/defected product they take care of it by picking it up at your door)

Just thinking that allowing for only a single response doesn't really reflect the reality of where people are doing *all* of their buying. Also, it isn't like TB is in first place because it is the "best" (although it is really really good!), sometimes it comes down to a matter of convenience, while other people may be drawn by things like return policies on bigger ticket items. I think if the poll was "select all the places online you buy from", you'd get a lovely distribution that would do a better job of reflecting the true purchasing habits of TBers.

i used to like Sweetwater, but they thought i wanted to get serious. they started sending candy and calling at random hours. when my GF caught on i had to choose between them.

P.S. My "other" includes other forums not listed (e.g. guitarscanada, basschat, etc.), kijiji (which is like Canada's Craigslist), and Facebook forums/marketplaces.

Being in the States and not Bombay, I've been buying a lot from Best Bass Gear lately. Most of it is pups, bridges and tuners. It's a little more then Sweetwater but it still free shipping and even though they are on the otherside of the state's I get it in a few days. Sweetwater for some reason started slowing down on me..... so when I want it now, I've been going with them
For pedals and other accessories, I mostly go with GC and Sam Ash, that way I can return them very easily at my local outlets if I don't like them for a full refund

I've only bought here on TB twice and both times were a good experience for me, but the bulk of my stuff is through Sweetwater followed by ebay. I've made an effort to quit dealing with Guitar Center / Musician's Friend but they do sometimes have good deals and I still have a GC card (which I very rarely use).
