It has a little gap at the side. Is it going to cause any issues? It feels and sounds okay, I checked the intonation and it’s set up. It seems okay to me so I’m not too bothered but I’d like to hear some more experienced views.

It looks like it's cocked sideways a little, but it's probably just the photos. I wouldn't be concerned as long it plays good. You could always stick a little shim in it if you wanted to. But, no need really. Why fix what's not broken?

I would just leave it as you will be the only one who will notice. If it plays and sounds good you are ahead of the game. Lots of basses that have super tight neck pockets and sound awful and have dead spots.
