Portable PA amp for UBass

...hi, I've just bought a Ubass, I like the idea of an AC/DC powered amp for it, and am wondering if anyone has tried using a PA amp and the quality of the sound ?
I've tried a little Samson in the shop and it sounded ok to my novice ear, they only have 6 inch speakers so the volume isn't great but I'm tempted as these amps have lots of useful goodies in them like blue tooth and chordless mics.... I will only be playing with a uke group in small venues.

Battery powered PA is not a commonly found thing. Sounds like your wires are crossed.

The main hurdle to Ubass is a preamp that handles the piezo. You will get some battery amp recommendations, some will be fine and some may be dismal with Ubass.

I have used a AER with Ubass, goes gangbusters, but they are top end of the market.

I have also tried plugging Ubass in a few mixing desks that failed to handle the naked piezo.
