Double Bass Position / fingering advise please

I don't understand your fingering...Those are A sharps on the A string, so I wouldn't be playing those arpeggios on one string!
I do this: G4-1D4-G1D4-1-1A4-1-D1A4-1-G4-1D4-1-E1A1

Exactly, mind the key signature.

Things like this are exactly what pivots are meant for, by the way.

I'd go with Jon. This is "pretzel" music and is exposed for us. Find the easiest patterns to slur smoothly.

I think he means to play the A sharp on the E string, not all three notes. 4-1-4. That wouldn't be my choice but it could work.
