Just noticed that the E string is at the point of starting to wind around the post. Wondering if this will present issues. I’m a stickler for getting at least 3 winds (at least on the E and A). Hope I didn’t cut the E too long. Thoughts?

CoolShouldn't be a problem. PWs being semi-rounds, they're pliable enough not to break even when part of the main body of the E string rides on the post.
The windings will still be on the post. You won’t be changing the length of the exposed winding area of the string.I guess if worse comes to worse, I can take it off and trim off a 1/2 inch.

Beautiful!!!
Lol. Thanks! I really appreciate the response. I like them right out of the pack! I know they will mellow into a beautiful, deep and punchy tone... YEAHNo harm, no foul. It's not within the vibrating area of the string.
Maintain normal breathing and just play it.

my GHS flats silk on the E goes around past yours to 9:00 on the other side...zero issues...
I was just reading about things like this on another post and was cautioned that it was potentially damaging to Flats. Based on these posts, looks like that is okay on any string.
