no offense, i just though octaves go first , chorus after distortions, filters after octaves, etc

I don't match effect order to placement on the board. On the board I worry about which ones I need to switch the most and spacing so my fat feet can easily hit them. The chain order is:
Bass -> Micro POG -> AF-9 -> Mail Bomb -> TLC -> Bi-Chorus -> BB Pre -> DD-3
The reasoning is that the octave needs the cleanest signal it can get to track well, then the envelope filters. The AF-9 can peak hot so then it goes into the comp to tame it a bit. Then into chorus, then dirt and delay is last. The delay actually is optional and will likely swap in and out with the Micro Synth. I use this same board for occasional guitar stuff (shh! don't tell).
That's the beauty of custom cable lengths,...you aren't limited on pedal placement.

Unless you've tried it already, I suggest that you mess with the MicroPog in a great many places in that chain. It will track darn near anything you throw at it. EQ ahead of the POG will really change the sound of the octaves coming out of it.
You said that you had it out front for tracking, but it almost isn't necessary with the POG. Resume with your uncertainty of pedal placement on your board. I'm scheduling in some time to ponder adding stuff back into mine.

I got Jared Lash's old OLC Chunky Cheese by way of Freaky Frequency. I should mention that the Multi Meter is out because I'm stupid. I thought FF sent me a defective pedal,...turns out I didn't turn the power strip on
. I need to figure out where to put it in this signal chain.

Bass --> TU-2 --> OC-2 --> Source Audio --> LS-2 (1) --> LS-2 (2) --> MoogerFooger Bass MuRF.
LS-2 (1) = Supercollider (blended).
LS-2 (2) = Boss SD-2 --> Groove Regulator (Not happy with this setup but I'm going to try it out with the SD-2 in the loop of the GR)

This is my first board ever, its a ghetto setup i made for a show this coming monday. I plan on making a much better actual board from wood sitting around my house, but since im running out of time to make it better, this'll have to do.
Im looking into getting a takeflightpedals' Goose soon to add some tasty fuzz/bit/synthy tone.

The pedals are powered up by a BBE Supa Charger mounted under the compressor.
that's a really nice DIY board, i love the second level. i was planning on building something like this, but decided to just go for a pre-fab and ended up with a NYC pedalhead. i'm still in the process of filling the board, but i was thinking about an OFO disnortion. how do you like yours?

Thanks dude! I LOVE my Disnortion. It seems like a lot of guys aren't happy with the fuzz, but I love it. It is rather smooth sounding, but it is REALLY fat, and since the OD is in parallel, you can add a lot of texture and grit with that.

Agreed, but it's so hard to justify (for me, anyway) when the cost to fix up my board would run me the same as trying out a new pedal.
Yeah, I love George L's, but they have gotten expensive lately. I think that If I needed to re-wire my board from scratch with George L's, it would cost me about $160. I have sort of accumulated them over time, though, and most of my ends were bought when they were a little less expensive.

I've noticed quite a few Supercolliders on boards. I've tried to find where to order, but they seem to be backordered since November, and they look different than the ones everyone here has. My questions are 1)Is this pedal dead in the water, production-wise, and 2)has the circuit changed since all of you purchased?

You can get them. Mark makes them in batches and there is usually a wait or list you can get on. Keep checking the Earthbound Audio blog for updates. I know he's been busy with the Beast pedals lately. Same circuit just screen printed enclosures now.
