Post your 1590a (tiny pedals) pedalboard

Great! Thank you Sir. I appreciate the link, and the heads up about the Mooer comp. I noticed they have a yellow comp as well, can't recall the name right now. Any experience with it? And either one of their reverbs, to my ears they both sound great... Well, from YouTube clips

I've never tried the Yellow Comp but there have been negative reviews for bass. The Shimverb (I own one) is okay, but might be of limited use for bass. I certainly found only one of the 3 modes at all useful, and even then I seem to remember the controls didn't seem to allow me to control enough. I don't know about any other Mooer reverb.

Looking forward to an all 1590a version of this board in the very near future. Unfortunately it won't (I think) have an extra pedal on it, the 1590a octave will just clear up the overhanging B3 and BOD.

As promised:

Gonna have fun with this :)

So glad you archived your goal!! Love seeing your board. But at the same time it saddens me due to the fact that the sfx micro comp is no longer made. And as I checked the site a couple days ago, I'm assuming the B3 as well is no longer in production. Correct me if I'm wrong.
But in my pursuit of an all 1590a board I looked into the Mooer five band EQ.

I appreciate the info, thing is, I live 2 hours from anywhere so trying things is difficult at times. I've gotten pretty lucky with my past purchases from just doing my homework, reading any reviews I can dig up, especially any thoughts or comments on here, product sites, and YouTube.
I'm basically trying to put together a smaller, lighter, more easily transported board for church that has the essentials. Tuner- comp- modulation- od/dirt- eq- di. Then I can leave my mini PT at home

how do you power it?

I have an old Boss (branded) PSA-something. It's a wall-wart rated about 1000 or 1500 ma I think.

Interestingly this is a non-switching power supply and recent boss power supplies, and cheap Chinese variations on the theme, all seem to be switching power supplies and introduce a noticeable high-pitched whine. So I'm not sure what I'm going to use when the old one dies.

I used one of [Invalid or Expired Link Removed] for a while, which seemed to help, but then it just died on me. So I'd welcome any input on alternative ways to power this board ... maybe in 1590A pedals there's little room for isolation circuitry and they're therefore more vulnerable to noise ?

I came across the CIOKS DC5 recently and that looked like it would physically fit.

But I'm particularly interested in peoples experiences with power supplies for small boards and small pedals ... something about wall-warts (particularly good for small boards) doesn't always go well with small pedals, it seems.
I use a Cioks DC5 under my Metro 20 board and have had no power issues whatsoever. Quiet, clean, and fits under even the smallest Pedaltrain board. Most importantly, it just works.

Oh, maybe it's not new at all. I'd never seen it before. All sorts of "hidden" stuff on One Control's website for me – for example while viewing the Hooker's Green page I couldn't find the white loop nor the black loop in the pull-down menu category "switchers", but if I click on "switchers" from the home page it lists all the switchers including the white loop and black loop.

I too went all minis. This awful pic is before I decided on pedal order. I switched the Malekko Filter and Mooer Sweeper around. The Xotic compressor might wind up on my guitar board if the new TC compressor sounds good. I am very happy with the Tender Octave and Bass Sweeper though. If anyone has another 1590a Envelope Filter idea, let me know. I play most places with back lines so I love the size. Taking subways to gigs, fly ins etc. Its powered by a DC-5 and I replaced the power cable with a 12 foot one. Still I love my filters and haven't heard a really good one yet.

Also if they are spaced any closer together I wind up trying to hit the octave and hitting the tuner by mistake (I also sing,so looking down all the time is impossible.

Good call on this. I emailed Poul Cioks and he indicated that an 18AWG Grounded AC Power Cord, NEMA 5-15P to IEC 60320 C5 would work fine with a DC5. I found a 10 foot version at Monoprice for under $3.oo USD.
Here's the link in case anyone's interested: Invalid Link Removed
