I know what you mean, I posted the pics of my basses anyway. With the following comment.

"I thought I would post a few pics of my basses to represent all the guys that don't have 3 grand to spend on a bass."

It was not meant to be "sour grapes" or mean spirited.The fact is, there are a lot of cool basses that are inexpensive.

Sheesh, I was going to post, but after seeing the caliber of choices here, my MIM's and craigslist gem don't look like they'd cut it.

Here are my favorite 3 basses (all of which I own)

92 MIM Fender Jazz Bass. Modded with 70's vintage pickups and control plate, Badass II Bridge, and schaller tuners.

04 Fender MIM Jazz V. Modded with SD Basslines, Audere JZ3, and a Badass V. You can get so many different tones from this thing!

Last but not least, 07 Musicman Sterling. All stock except for a new Pickguard. This thing is awesome. The finish looks so much better in person.
