Thanks. I haven't spent much time around those with Downs so I don't know if that behavior is normal for them. I still don't blame the father tho.

My brother had Down Syndrome (he died at age 55). Aggressive behavior is very unusual for those folks. They're usually very easy-going and sweet.

Regarding the video, it doesn't look to me like the kick actually made contact, and since there's no sound we don't know if anything was said that may have provoked him.

In my mind I imagine the kid being loud and the guy on the phone being annoyed. I'm not sure how that applies but it's the only thing I can think of that makes sense.
